Bike Everywhere 2018 Lineup
April 29, 9-11am: Bike Swap & Sale. Todd Fischer Studio, 439 W 2nd St (at Marine Dr.)
Swap or sell your gently used bikes and bike-related gear. Set up outside the studio, community rummage sale-style. Bring a table and tent if you like. You’re responsible for your stuff (pricing, selling, keeping an eye on it, etc.). No charge to sellers. Visit the Facebook event for updates.
May 1, 7-9am: Breakfast Boost—Olympic Medical Center Walk-In Clinic, Race & Georgiana. Grab-n-go snack for cyclists. (FREE)
May 2, 5:30pm: Bike Wednesday Ride: Flannel Night! Wear your best plaid! Meet at Laurel Street Fountain. Easy family-friendly social ride on the waterfront.
May 4, 5-6pm: Bikes & Brews Happy Hour @ Wine on the Waterfront. Landing Mall, 2nd Floor.
May 4, 5 & 6, all day: NW Cup Downhill MTB races at Dry Hill
May 5, 10-2: Port Angeles Farmers Market, Gateway Transit Center
– Park in green bike corral by H2O for a $1 market token (1st 20 cyclists).
– Free kids’ helmets courtesy of Port Angeles Police Department.
– City council chat. Talk to council members about your vision for a bike-friendly Port Angeles.

May 9, 5:30-7pm: Family Bike Night & Bike Route Open House, Vern Burton Community Center. Kids’ skills course in the parking lot. Bike route open house with the City of Port Angeles Planning Commission: Talk with city planners about where you like to bike (and where you don’t). Share your ideas for a bike-friendly Port Angeles!
May 11, 6:30-8:30pm: Bike Everywhere Sip & Paint with Todd Fischer! Todd Fischer Studio, 439 W 2nd St (at Marine Dr.). PNW artist Todd Fischer guides you from start to finish in painting your own colorful work of bike art. Everything’s included, from canvas to brush to paints, plus a tasty adult beverage. Age 21 and up. $50; limited to 20 participants. E
May 13, MOTHER’S DAY
9:30-Noon: New Rider Open House, Lincoln Park BMX Track. Are you BMX-curious? Grab a loaner bike and helmet and try a few laps around the renovated track! Signups at 9:30; clinic begins at 10:00. (FREE)
12pm: BMX Races, Lincoln Park BMX Track. Registration at noon; races begin asap.
May 14, 7-9am: Breakfast Boost—Empossible Eden Cafe, Marine Dr & Tumwater. FREE coffee & chocolate chip cookie for cyclists!
May 15, 7-9 am: Breakfast Boost—Vern Burton Community Center. Hosted by the City of Port Angeles Wellness Committee. Grab-n-go snack for cyclists. (FREE)
May 16, 6-8pm: Ladies & Girls Night @ Lincoln Park BMX Track!
May 17, 7-8:30pm: Fix-It Clinic & Bus Bike Rack Demo with Bike Garage and Clallam Transit, Port Angeles Public Library, Raymond Carver Room. Learn how to load/unload your bike on a real Clallam Transit bus, then join Tom from Bike Garage inside for a ton of easy tips for keeping your bike in great condition.
May 18, 5-6pm: Bikes & Brews Happy Hour @ H2O Waterfront Bistro, Laurel & Railroad, across from City Pier.
May 19, 12-2: Family Scavenger Hunt Bike Ride, City Pier Playground
4-mile scavenger hunt on the Waterfront Trail. Helmets required. (Free kids’ helmets available courtesy of Port Angeles Police Department.)
May 20: Granny’s MTB Ride. Leave Dan Kelly lot at 10:00. No-drop ride. Bike the logging road to Granny’s Cafe for ice cream and a cold beverage at Granny’s. Return via the Adventure Route. About 14 miles RT; intermediate-level ride. Helmets required. Please arrive self-supporting with snacks, water, and patch kit/tube/tools.
7-9am: Breakfast Boost—Feiro Marine Life Center/TBD @ City Pier. Grab-n-go snack for cyclists. (FREE)
6pm: BMX Races, Lincoln Park BMX Track
7:30pm: Bike Trivia Night, Bar N9ne, 229 W 1st St. Free to play. 3 rounds; winning team (up to 6) of each round wins $20 off their bar tab.
May 25, 5-6pm: Bikes & Brews Happy Hour @ Station 51, 125 W Front St.
7-9am: Breakfast Boost—Bella Rosa Coffee House, Lincoln & 4th St. Bike in for a cyclist-exclusive deal.

May 31: Lefties Opener: Bike to the Ballgame! Leave the car at home and park at the new blue bike rack outside Civic Field. Get your tickets online in advance at LeftiesBaseball.com.
BONUS: June 1-2, North Olympic Discovery Marathon, Expo, Kids’ Marathon. Bike to the events and park in the big green bike corral by H2O!
